Advisory Council Priorities and Meetings

The Responsible Offshore Science Alliance Advisory Council provides strategic guidance for the organization and defines key projects for staff and council committees.

Current Advisory Council Priorities

  • Developing a regional framework to help states, developers, and others prioritize research and allocate resources.
  • Creating standards for fisheries data collection that emphasize compatibility across industry data sets and data accessibility.
  • Coordinating regional research and deepening communication among researchers on topics such as: sampling design, monitoring strategies, research planning and execution, permitting challenges, gear standardization, and data standards.

Fall 2023 Advisory Council Meeting
