The ongoing ROSA Data Governance Program collaborates with researchers and funders and developers to make regional fisheries monitoring data more Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. We’ve created a ROSA Data Policy, established criteria and recommendations for data repositories, required ROSA-administered projects to create and follow Data Management and Sharing Plans and created a template for funders to use. Good data governance enables us to fulfill our goal of assessing regional and cumulative impacts from offshore wind and other blue economy efforts.
